Women – The Dirty 30’s

Most women begin noticing and worrying about their skin and health around the age of 30. Whether or not their bodies show any sign of aging, just the thought of being thirty tends to bring about a kind of early-life reality check for many people.

Women in their thirties are very aware of the aging process, whether they have begun to experience it yet or not. Many begin what turns into a lifelong commitment to delaying the effects of aging to the best of their ability. There are a number of ways to do this and each woman ultimately chooses what’s best for her, her skin type, body type and overall lifestyle.

Taking care of the skin
Wrinkles are one of the major, undesirable signs of aging. Women begin fighting wrinkles early by following a strict morning and evening skin care regimen, getting regular facials to clear their pores and refresh their complexion, moisturizing to keep skin well-hydrated and using oil-free, naturally-based cleansers and cosmetic products.

Managing stress, getting plenty of sleep and making sure to take the time to do the things they enjoy most also helps women control wrinkles and signs of aging. Many women at this age get caught up in their careers or taking care of young children, and they to take the time to just relax and take care of themselves.

Keeping fit means staying healthy
During this decade of life, it’s more important than ever to exercise and eat right. While many life habits have already been created, it’s never too late to change them and do the best job possible to ensure a long, healthy and prosperous life. By avoiding fatty foods, incorporating lots of fruits, vegetables, calcium and protein into the diet and exercising regularly, women can significantly reduce their chances for disease later in life and increase their life expectancy. Doing these things also makes women look and feel better, boosting self-confidence and overall mood!

Schedule regular trips to the doctor
While women in their thirties are generally not experiencing any major signs of aging or disease yet, it’s time to begin preemptive doctor visits. If someone in the family had a major genetic disease, it’s important to schedule yearly check-ups to make sure that everything checks out. Early detection is the key to curing most major diseases, and there’s no excuse to skip regular checkups with a specialist.
