It also ushered in a new era of collaboration between Premera and its network of providers- the result being a significant decrease in unnecessary procedures and treatments which did not improve patient care and added tremendous costs. Premera Blue Cross encourages its policyholders to take an active role in their own health and well-being by promoting wellness programs and informing them about positive lifestyle choices.
Both individuals and families can select health insurance policies from a wide range of plans. Each plan has a different range of annual deductibles, copayment amounts, and coinsurance percentages. By offering such a wide variety of policies, Premera Blue Cross ensures that all its members have the right coverage for their needs and personal circumstances.
