Plan Offerings
Connecticare POS Hospital Deductible Plans – These plans require a deductible to be met on hospital or outpatient services for inpatient or outpatient ambulatory services. Other services provided by physicians and other in-network providers require a small co-payment. It is ideal for those who want to be able to choose from in and out-of-network providers, choice of two prescription drug plans, as well as co-payments for in-network services.

Connecticare POS Upfront Deductible Plans – This plan means you meet an upfront deductible and once it is met in a calendar year, your services are paid by Connecticare minus your co-payment or co-insurance. It is ideal for those who want a low premium, like to budget for medical expenses, and want separate deductibles for individual and family members.

Connecticare POS High-Deductible Plans – This plan is a good choice if you don’t mind paying a high-deductible in exchange for lower monthly premiums. It is ideal for those who want low premiums, want to see in-network and out-of-network providers, and want a tax-deductible Health Savings Account (HSA).

Connecticare MHO High-Deductible Plans – This plan allows you see any healthcare specialist without a referral. You must first meet your deductible before the plan takes effect. It is best combined with a tax-deductible Health Savings Account (HSA). This plan is also the only plan offered by Connecticare Health Insurance with maternity coverage.
